Mega's Arms adds 27 different historical weapons. Including Swords, Polearms, Daggers, Maces and Axes that can all be forged in the Forge crafting station with a unique forging minigame where you have to heat metal, beat it with your hammer and quench it in a bucket in a UI with physics simulation. You can make these weapons with the following materials Wood, Copper, Gold, Iron, Netherite and newly added Steel. All the weapons added in the mod have new combat mechanics such as dynamic Blocking and Parrying, Bleeding, Armor Penetration, increased attack reach and Wielding which is an attribute on two-handed weapons. Some mobs can also spawn with these weapons and extra armor to add more challenge. Almost everything in the mod is fully configurable and is designed to fit into vanilla Minecraft.

Crafting Stations
There are three different tiers of crafting stations, first for making wooden weapons is the Workbench, second for making Gold, Copper and Iron is the Forge, finally for making Steel and Netherite is the Nether Forge (wooden weapons don't require you to do the forging minigame but all the metal weapons do).
Smithing Hammers
Smithing Hammers are a new tool added that come in different tiers (Wood, Stone, Gold, Copper, Iron, Steel, Diamond and Netherite) and are needed for making weapons eg. a Wooden Hammer is needed for making wooden weapons and a Iron Hammer is needed for making Copper weapons (higher tiers of hammers can be used to make all the previous tiers of weapons, like the Netherite hammer can make all tiers of weapons) Smithing Hammers can also be used to mine blocks like a Pickaxe and have special interactions with some blocks eg. Cobblestone can be crushed into Gravel.
Minigame
When forging metal weapons a UI minigame is initiated where you have an ingot with physics that you can pickup and throw around. You heat the ingot in a furnace that you then pick up and move to an anvil where you have to play a timing game to hammer the ingot. As you hammer the ingot it cools down making your hammer strikes less effective, so you must pickup and reheat your ingot in the furnace. Once the ingot is fully hammered you must pick it up and quench it in a bucket of water, completing the minigame and giving you your weapon.

Blocking and Parrying
You can right click to block with your weapon, each weapon has a max guard stat and damage taken is reduced by the amount of guard that the weapon has. And if damage exceeds the amount of guard the weapon has then your guard breaks going on cooldown shortly. Each blocked hit will lower your guard by one (which naturally regenerates over a short time) but if you parry your guard will not be lowered. When Parrying damage is reduced by the amount of guard plus the attack damage the weapon has.
Bleeding
Bleeding is a new effect that deals damage over time (similar to the Wither effect) and causes blood particles to drip off you. Bleed is inflicted by weapons with bleed chance, bleed can be inflicted multiple times on the same entity stacking the effect amplifier and duration. Armor decreases the chance to bleed, some entities, like Undead are immune to bleed.
Wielding
Wielding is a negative attribute on two-handed weapons ranging from Wielding one to Wielding three (Wielding three being the most potent) Wielding decreases the attack damage and attack speed of the weapon when an item is in your offhand.
Armor Penetration
Armor Penetration is another attribute. It makes the weapon ignore a percentage of armor, but it does not effect armor toughness or the Protection enchantment.
Attack Reach
Most weapons have increased attack reach, which allows you to hit entities from further away.

Steel
Steel is a new material that is between Iron and Diamond. It can be obtained by smelting a Steel Charge (which is made with Iron, Clay and Charcoal) in a Blast Furnace. Steel can be used to make Armor, Tools and of course weapons.
Mobs
Some mobs like Zombies, Skeletons etc. Can spawn with weapons from the mod and extra armor including Steel armor.
Dyeable Handles
Weapons with leather handles can be dyed with dyes similar to Leather armor, allowing for millions of color combinations which can be removed by clicking on a Cauldron with water in it.
